  • Is there a retainer fee to book?
    Yes, A NON-REFUNDABLE, transferable retainer fee is required to book an appointment and it is credited towards the final total. If we cancel the appointment for any unfortunate reason, the fee will be immediately refunded through the payment which was paid at the time of booking.
  • Can I get my retainer fee after I cancel or reschedule?
    No, the retainer fee is non-refundable due to preparations made for every appointment. However, if there ever is a situation where we cannot make the appointment, a full refund will be issued. If a client wishes to reschedule, the retainer fee will be transferred to their desired date and time if we are available.
  • What is your late policy?
    A $10 late fee will be applied to the final balance if a client is more than 10 minutes late. If they are more than 20 minutes late, the appointment will be canceled and will not be refunded their retainer fee. Try to arrive 5 minutes early to make sure you are on time. Be sure to book your appointment at least 2 hours before your event.
  • How can I reschedule?
    To reschedule please contact us before your appointment in order for your booking fee to be credited towards their new appointment. Any time after that 24-hour window will require another booking fee. Please keep in mind that it is not guaranteed that your desired rescheduled time and day will be available.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Retainer fees will NOT be refunded if the client cancels. Please contact us if you need to cancel. Failure to do so will result in banning from future bookings.
  • How do I pay the rest of my balance?
    Cash is preferred, however, we take payments through Zelle, the Cash App, PayPal, Venmo and any major credit card for a small 3% convenience fee (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc). We does not accept checks, bank runs, or gift cards of any kinds.
  • Can I book you on the same day I request makeup services?
    Yes, any last minute appointments are $100 per person and requires a $20 retainer fee via cash app or zelle to prepare for the client's arrival. If a client desires Kiaa to travel to them, there will be an additional $50 round trip travel fee within the South Florida region.
  • Does Kiaa Janell Beauty travel?
    Yes, for an additional $50, we travels from West Palm Beach to South Miami Dade, Florida. When booking your appointment, you must choose the travel option and put the address of where to meet you. Any services needed outside of South Florida will be at the client's expense (gas, flights, hotel, etc). Please email at info@kiaajanell.com or send a message through the contact center for a quote.
  • Are touch up services provided?
    Yes, there is a $50 fee for every hour to keep us around for touch ups.
  • How can I book you as my photographer?
    Please go to the contact center and enter a full description of your project or event for an inquiry quote. You will receive a response with a quote within 24 hours. If you would like makeup + headshot photography services, please visit the calendar to book.
  • How soon can I get my photos delivered to me after our photo shoot?
    Retouched photos are delivered to their private gallery within 5 business days after the clients choose their favorites. They will have a list designated to their top 5 photos for us to retouch.
  • Can I get extra retouches after my photos are delivered?
    Any additional retouches after the initial top 5 are delivered are $25 per photo and will be sent within 5 business days through their private gallery.
